Terranigma: There's a reason this was never released worldwide.
I think I've finally identified an overall worse game than Ephemeral Fantasia.
What I Liked

...I'm thinking!
I guess I can give kudos for some of the music.
What I Didn't Like
I'm not going to beat the game up over everything that was a failure; there's just too much.
Instead, I'll target its worst feature: the dungeon design. "Every dungeon is WAY. TOO. LONG. And they have silly requirements to pass them."
One example involves "luring" an enemy to basically blow wind to drop a wall. The problem is, these enemies don't actually follow you, so you could spend over an hour waiting for them to get in the right place to get the wall down - and you can't continue that dungeon nor the game until you do.
The beginning of the game comes off like the bastard child of Dragon Quest VII (ugh...) and Dark Cloud 2 (ughhhh....).
Ephemeral Fantasia was bland, but aesthetically decent. Dragon Quest VII was dull but had a basically good story. This game? It's even worse than its relative, Illusion of Gaia.
